A sense of authenticity is one of our deepest psychological needs, and people are more hungry for it than ever. Even so, being true to oneself is not for the faint of heart. Are you up to living an authentic life?

Questions of authenticity determines our regard for others.Authenticity is correlated with many aspects of psychological well-being, including vitality, self-esteem, and coping skills. Acting in accordance with one’s core self- a trait called self-determination, is ranked by some experts as one of three basic psychological needs, along with competence and sense of relatedness.

People who feel inauthentic are often living life according to fixed views about how they should be.

Be deliberate- authenticity consists in being aware that you have choices and consciously choosing what you do.

Do not be to deliberate-People often make better decisions when they don’t think sboud them. Go with the old say “go with your gut” Authentic reactions are much more at gut level.

Cultivate solitude- quiet and time for the self are a big plus if you are worried about inauthenticity, there is nothing like shutting the door and keeping the world out for a period of time.

Stay connected- community is an outlook towards life in which you define yourself in relation to the world around you rather than onlyl in connectionwith yourself. You should consider “enlarging the sense of self”.

Play hard- whether it is taking an art class; ballroom dancing, playing basketball, running, weight lifting, or just hanging out with friends, doing something you really enjoy allows you to express who you arally are.

Be willing to lose- feelings of inauthenticity are heightened by a lack of a phiosophy that allows failture to be part of life. If you are leading a full life, you are going to fail some every day.

Back problems are generally common, one can suffer from either upper back or lower back pains. Back problems happen to almost everyone at least once or twice in their lifetime. To prevent back problems try and keep in shape.

He told me that I was lucky that I had come in when I did because it wasn’t the type of injury that was known to go away on its own right away. There is nothing wrong in buying a crazy pair of shoes once in a while if you feel so incllined , try to forget all the rules if you so desire, and if you feel confidental that this shoe will be fun to wear, buy it, what have you got to loose. As a shoes collector I have enough shoes for everyone I know. I collect them and after 40 years my shoes are still like new and I love them all. The trick I have is that I don’t wear the same shoes all the time. I rotate my shoes and make sure at least once a year I have tried on that shoe and worn it for half a day and in some cases the whole day. When there is a great sale I buy several at a time and try to get new shoes that does resemble any shoe in my closet. But when I find shoes I just love and I am crazy about the fit and the comfort I buy several in the same style but different color.

Collecting Shoes is a lot of fun and never throw them away if they are in good condition and comfortable because the style always comes back It always amazes me that I have such a great collection.
